The cost of the Light Ship tour is inexpensive and takes about 30 minutes depending on questions. There is also a small gift shop and museum. Tour guides are volunteers and all provide the facts of the Light ship while some add stories of light...More

We happened upon the Lightship Overfalls on our trip to Lewes, DE. We enjoyed our tour and learning about the history of lightships. Lightships were used where lighthouses could not be built. We felt the price of admission ($5 per adult) was well worth it.

A must stop while in this area. Great ship to walk and tour. this was a life saving ship where a crew went out to save other ships and crews in trouble.

Have enjoyed visiting this lightship and learning about what it did. Tour guides were very friendly and informative. Very easy to get to from route 1.
