We were looking for something to do on the water and came across this adventure. Our daughter is 10 and when we showed up, we weren’t sure she’d like it because most of the other children were six and below. However, she really enjoyed herself and my husband and I did too. The staff is great with the kids, they keep them entertained, and the jokes are good for adults :). If you have little ones, it’s definitely a good time.

We took two of our Grandsons 4 & 6 yrs old on the cruise today, they seemed to really enjoy it, the staff did a great job keeping the kids busy for about 65 minutes during the cruse. It's definitely for younger kids, I would say between 4 and 10. All the kids onboard seemed to have a great time.

ARGGG MATEY. What an awesome time for not only our five year old grandson but the grown up pirates also. Captain G and her crew kept the kids entertained the entire time finding hidden treasures, reading maps, and even taking on and defeating Bad Pirate Bo with water cannons and taking his loot. Throw in some pirate music and some jokes for the adults and it was swashbuckling great time!

My husband and I took our 5yo and 2yo girls on this trip yesterday. My 5yo had a blast, using the map to look for landmarks, fighting a pirate, and then claiming her treasure. The ride was very interactive, from the costumes to the face paint to the water cannons. My 2yo seemed to have fun, but got a little scared by the pirate who “attacked” our ship. The parents sit back and watch the show and are entertained by the PG-13 jokes from the tour guides. (The jokes go over the kids’ heads.) Kids get wet, parents get splashed. Call ahead to find out when the ship is going out. They advertise three trips per day, when we went during peak season only set sail one time. (They need at least 15 people to make the trip worthwhile.)

We just visited the Pirates of Lewes this week with our son. We went not really knowing what to expect other than some fun with pirates. This was so much fun! Our son loved the “water canons” and the “battle.” The pirates are engaging for both the kids and the adults. They keep the kids moving about the ship over the course of the ride. So worth it!
