ARGGG MATEY. What an awesome time for not only our five year old grandson but the grown up pirates also. Captain G and her crew kept the kids entertained the entire time finding hidden treasures, reading maps, and even taking on and defeating Bad Pirate Bo with water cannons and taking his loot. Throw in some pirate music and some jokes for the adults and it was swashbuckling great time!

My husband and I took our 5yo and 2yo girls on this trip yesterday. My 5yo had a blast, using the map to look for landmarks, fighting a pirate, and then claiming her treasure. The ride was very interactive, from the costumes to the face paint to the water cannons. My 2yo seemed to have fun, but got a little scared by the pirate who “attacked” our ship. The parents sit back and watch the show and are entertained by the PG-13 jokes from the tour guides. (The jokes go over the kids’ heads.) Kids get wet, parents get splashed. Call ahead to find out when the ship is going out. They advertise three trips per day, when we went during peak season only set sail one time. (They need at least 15 people to make the trip worthwhile.)

We just visited the Pirates of Lewes this week with our son. We went not really knowing what to expect other than some fun with pirates. This was so much fun! Our son loved the “water canons” and the “battle.” The pirates are engaging for both the kids and the adults. They keep the kids moving about the ship over the course of the ride. So worth it!

We took our three grandsons, (10, 7, and 5), on this today and they had a blast. It doesn't last all that long, and the pirate "crew" was excellent in keeping the kids involved and active throughout. ((There is also a nice shaded area for parents and grandparents to sit out of the blazing sun.)) Of course, they really enjoyed that "battle" with the "bad pirate" with the water "cannons" on the boat. Again, my hat is off to the crew for keeping all the kids so involved. If you are coming to the area, and looking for something "outside" to do that doesn't involve the beach, this is great fun. I'd say reservations are required as this activity was "full" today.

This was worth every cent. The crew engaged all pirates in searching for treasure and fighting off the bad pirate. Loved the crew, shooting the water cannons and seeing the kids do the happy feet limbo. I would highly recommend this pirate excursion.
