My husband and I needed a thing to do for a few hours while on a trip. Shawn, below, describes the rescue and zoo very accurately. If you want a nice air conditioned bathroom, gift shop and eatery, this place doesn't have any of that....More

This is a small country zoo for rescue animals. The area is muddy, particularly near the pig pen and is kind of a "do it yourself" operation - largely overrun by chickens and geese. We enjoyed looking at the animals for about 30 minutes and...More

This isn't your typical zoo, but it is a nice wildlife animal rescue. You can see lots of animals depending on the time of day, some even walk among you at the zoo (geese and tortoise). They have Llama's, goats, fox, bunnies, guinea pigs, donkey,...More

This little place is out-of-the-way and simply organized, but a fascinating experience (especially for little ones). A zoo comprised of rescue animals (what a wonderful idea!), friendly (and kept at a distance for those few exceptions) and varied, with bamboo to feed them. It's a...More

Pretty much a little roadside zoo of the type that should not be happening. Sure he has rescue animals but he has created a mish mash of exhibits in dog kennels and other things. Plus he does not have the only alligator in Delaware. the...More

The zoo is comprised of rescue animals. Very nice assortment. Admission is very reasonable and the money goes towards animal upkeep. You can feed and get very close to most of the animals. Nice way to spend about an hour with the family.

Went for the first time today. It's a nice zoo with a great variety of animals. The staff was helpful and friendly. The animals look well cared for and our kids had a blast.
