Our family recently had a great day at The Maritime Aquarium. The kids, of course, were wow-ed by the sharks, seals and giant sea turtles. We all enjoyed the IMAX movie "Pulse." What an experience it was on that huge screen! And we all walked...More

I saw this aquarium online and figured I would go here instead of the Mystic aquarium for a change, this was a terrible mistake. The aquarium is very small, but the map online makes it look huge. I was excited to see the seal exhibit...More

This was a great time! The admission includes an IMAX film, so it’s a good value. We were visiting from out of town, so having an area of what lives in the region was cool. It doesn’t take a lot of time to go through...More

I have been enjoying the Maritime Center for decades. I remember the first time I went there, they had shipwright (shipbuilding) exhibits and one of the Solo-North Atlantic crossing sailboats on display. Since they the Center has expanded by leaps & bounds to vastly increase...More

To me this aquarium is perfect when you have little kids. They have a few interactive areas to touch jelly fish, rays, crabs, shell fish etc. Plus, sea lion shows, gigiant turtles, 4-6 sharks, octopus, jelly fish exhibits, etc. It's smaller than most of aquariums...More

Loved this place. The Sharks were impressive and I was glad they were on the other side of think glass. The feeding of the seals was another highlight. Lots to see but was confused by the Meerkats in an Aquarium!
