What a person will encounter is a gray round brick platform with a large anchor-not sure if the anchor is wood or metal- with a three foot high stone wall about 1/2 half around the platform. At the top of the wall are one piece...More

A nice place to stop by while you are taking in the history of the downtown Mystic area. Well maintained and a good area to take a break from walking and relax.

This is located just before the drawbridge as you head into Mystic. It is not much to see but it is nice and it is worth the little bit of the walk out if you are into that kind of thing. If you do not...More

This is a little place near the historic area, worth a quick stop. It's pretty in the fall with the leaf colors.

Great display with information provided on stones and plaques remembering so much history there. Not much else to do there but to take pictures, sit and relax for as long as you'd like.

Mystic is filled with historical points and places. It is worth a stop and a few moments to think about life in the 19th and 20th century

A nice place to stop! Kids love climbing on the anchor. Nice to sit for a few minutes and watch people and the traffic go by. Not much else to say about it. Well worth 5 to 10 minutes maybe with your ice cream!

I am a resident of Mystic and never tire of walking around town and the historic district. Liberty Square is ideally located in the town center to begin a leisurely 1 1/2 hour walk. Go east (toward Rhode Island) on Main Street (Route-1) to the...More

Taking a one hour trip down from Providence to spend time in Mystic was a waste of time. It is like the Wisconsin Dells of the East Coast with higher prices and no Ducks (if you're from the Midwest - you "get" that reference). High...More
