Uncomfortable theater with poor sound quality. Out of place electronic billboard ruins the charm of the town. Many of the movies can be found in neighboring towns for the same price with much more ambiance as no comfort.

The theater is very comfortable, and you can get good snacks and espresso in the lobby. Madison is a nice town to walk around in and get ice cream after the movie!

Madison Art Cinema offers two small theaters screening mostly interesting indie films (every now and then they have the same stuff you can find in any cineplex). The concession stand sells pastry and pretty good coffee in addition to the usual candy and popcorn.

A small two-screen independent theater that shows mostly art house films, this is the place to go if you aren't interested in going to a multiplex theater. The coffee drinks are good (and served in real cups with saucers), too.

Old-fashion style theater with new technology. Refreshment stand. Quaint downtown stroll after/before a movie. Fair prices.

Sick of the noisy, sticky suburban cineplexes? Try this little local cinema with two screens, a classy snack bar with good coffee and pastry, and patrons who care about what's on the screen.

Always a great selection of movies offered, most not available in other theaters locally. This is a small, two screen location with a very knowledgeable owner, who really knows his craft.

I'm been a frequent customer here for years and I love it. It's a friendly atmosphere and the art deco style goes well with the art gallery that changes periodically. I think it's great that Arnold, the owner, supports local artists.Their selection of movies is...More
