Nice place for a pint/coffee/soft drink after cycling round the island. The bus to the ferry stops right outside, very handy.

Absolutely fantastic hogmanay party at the George. Staff friendly, entertainment by Maran n Monroe superb and atmosphere electric. The host even provided a wee nip at the bells. Here’s to next year. Best party in Millport.

Considering where this establishment is (head of the harbour) we expected better of this dark, dingy, in need of a refurbishment hotel, on the plus side is the views from the beer garden especially on a sunny day.plus.

Dated decor and disgusting toilet but when a bar doesn't even have any Lager to sell the customers there's something far wrong. I'd suggest giving this place a miss and heading across the street to some decent bars.

Toilet smell unbearable. Outside area nice view but rickety picnic tables about to collapse. Nice young man behind bar but young woman very surly. WiFi only inside bar - not in "Beer Garden." Used to have atmosphere; now just a dive.

Over to the island for an event..........in the evening the hotel had a band on for entertainment! The Port Town Rockers.........great Rock'n'Roll music. The Bar had a friendly feel about it and service was always with a smile and quick. We'll be back! Cheers!
