This is a speak easy type of moonshine distillery. We used a Groupon and went with a small group. I'm not the biggest fan of moonshine, but the bartenders knew what they were doing and explained a lot about the process and each tasting.

I've never been to a moonshine tasting so I didn't know what to expect, but this place was awesome! Stacy took time to find out what flavors we liked and really catered to us. It was so fun to sample all the different infusions. Will...More

When you drive down the gravel road and hang a right in the bus parking lot, you'll think you're lost, but you're not. Park by the sign and head on in to the 1920s Speakeasy. The atmosphere will have you asking for Gatsby, but I...More

What fun gem to visit! The moonshine/whiskey is delicious, the staff provides fantastic history and background, and the location is set up really well with old-time period artifacts. If they are ever able to sell cocktails after a tasting, it will be a great place...More

Our bartender Kenny was not only educational and informative he was also extremely personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and the distiller Kent. The tasting room was warm and cozy as was the moonshine. The infused cocktails are worth the try.

Although getting there may be a little confusing with the industrial buildings, school busses and back alleys, Onyx Spirits is a really neat place inside. Decorated like what I pictured a Speakeasy would look like, the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. The barkeeps were very...More

Interesting hidden treasure. Mostly tasting, less viewing of how the moonshine is made. We were surprised how smooth the alcohol was and the infusions that can be accomplished.

The tour was really fun, informative and tasty. All their spirits were very good and the Speakeasy was decorated with pieces of the time.

Yes, you will second guess yourself that you are in the right place as you drive up, tucked away, but most definitely worth it. We did the tasting and tour and both were well worth it. The tour was about 30 minutes and informative. The...More

Never would have thought there was a place like this in what looked like a warehouse. Very cool speakeasy tasting room. We love whiskey, but fell in love with the moonshine, talk about smooth. Tasting was $20 pp, staff was great, very friendly and willing...More

I do not believe there is transportation but check with the distillery directly. They can definitely accommodate groups of that size. You will not be disappointed.
