At $6 a person it was definitely worth the money. Very interesting place, if your in the area I would highly recommend taking a tour through the castle.

When you go, take the ferry over, that in and of itself is worth it. You can drive right up. When I was there the museum and shop were not open (off season). But you could see the castle and look into the structure.

First, if you can, take the Ferry over instead of driving. Beautiful grounds. Unfortunately the interior was not open when we visited. Great place to pack a picnic lunch, sit and enjoy. Really enjoyed the stone work throughout the property. Would highly recommended.

It was off season so castle was not open but you can walk the grounds, hike, and use the clean facilities. Ample parking
