This seems to be a town of artists and eccentric entities, you'll find all kinds of surprises in it. Also, I love that most of the business -if not all of it- is local, it's an incredible experience!

There are plenty of shops and places to eat. The historic downtown is quaint and easy to get around. The only negative is there is NO free parking anywhere!

I usually target the first of October, plus or minus a week and you'll be really close to the peak. It looks great either way.
