Its really breathtaking view! I suggest you to go from Makassar around 5am in the morning so you can catch up sunrise here. I bet its more beautiful. Do not come here at noon, its super hot but its worth it! Try kafe rammang-rammang too!

Mursalim Dodo organised a day trip for us when we arrived on a cruise ship which included Rammang-Rammang village. Tour Guide Budewye was fantastic, day was awesome, travelling with two kids, felt safe and well cared for. Everything well organised. Couldn't recommend him more.

Bantimurung is more touristy and mass tourism than Ramang2. I do not have idea where the cruise ship will be harbored If it is in Makassar then it is quite far from Ramang2/Bantimurung.
