Playground is fun for 2-9/10 year olds, and sledding … but fairly short runs. Lots of parking. Dog walking around the park too. Recreation Center is next door.

Visited this park while on a weekend getaway. It was great for our young elementary and preschool age kids! Lots to entertain them and get the wiggles out before the long drive home. Also had tennis courts, a soccer field, and skate park that would be great for older kids or adults. Bathrooms were open and well maintained, but be aware that the water fountain is currently off due to COVID19 restrictions.

Rainbow Park opened up in July of 2010 (we arrived in town a few days after it opened). It has lots of cool things to climb on and enjoy. Little ones will find things to do as well as the older kids (10 year olds will have fun). It's right next to a soccer field so there is a lot of space to run around too. I'm not sure what the surface was made of, but it's very soft and springy. It's one of the coolest parks my kids have been to. It's free. I would have rated it a 5 - but it's just a playground (but a great one)

We attempted to sled behind our cabin but the fresh unpacked snow proved difficult to walk through making sledding difficult for some. We decided to try the park the following day as we had heard it was a popular sledding hill and figured the snow would be packed down better sledding. It did not disappoint. There were several sides/grades of slopes that were fun for Littles and the adults in our group. Everyone agreed this was their favorite place to sled and it’s free.

This park playground is fantastic. Clean and well Maintained. There are 2 playgrounds, one for smaller kiddos and a skateboard park which was used a lot and very nice. Great free afternoon with the kids. Close to trails for a walk.!

This is a great park for kids of all ages! We took our 3 1/2-year-old twin grandchildren to Rainbow Park to let them run off a little energy before we went back to our hotel. They both had a blast! We had planned to stay for a half hour but ended up staying for well over an hour.
The children's play area is large. The structures in the play area are very colorful and have many different climbing, sliding and swinging possibilities. There were lots of different variations on ladders, bridges, walkways, slides and swings (even a tire swing!). There were even some hollow metal pipes that made music when tapped or gently moved. The surface under the structures was a mix of soft rubber or wood chips (for soft landings in case of a fall). Everything was clean and well-maintained. There were restrooms, a water fountain and a shaded area with tables right by the play structures. We saw kids from 6 months (swinging in the baby swings) to 10-12 years old (climbing a large climbing pyramid made of steel cables) being active and having a good time.
The park also has a skate park (fun for the little ones to watch), a soccer field, a basketball court and tennis courts. It is located right next to a rec center.
We've been to at least 20 parks with the grandkids and this is without a doubt the best one we have visited.

For visitors, it is a great place to let the kids run and enjoy themselves. It has 2 playgrounds for different age kids. It is also a nice place to take lunch from Wendy's or Quiznos and enjoy being outdoors.

I used to sled here as a kid and took my daughter for the first time after many years away. The sledding is still great but the new playground was an even bigger hit for her. Great way to spend a few hours outdoors on a sunny winter day.

We are from Texas where my kids, now older kids never since snow. We went there to visit the ice castle, in which was not that great but however the park was awesome. First there was no snow than while dining it started to snow, SOOOO beautiful !!!! We walked out and the ground was white. We went to the park and we had a blast. My granddaughter enjoy the playground. My family and I got into a snow fight, We saw people sledding and etc. IT was just so much fun. The park is big with a very enjoyable playground. It was just so much fun. We are go back again this month but this time we are buying some snow sled!!! Cant wait. I am sure Yall will enjoy the park if yall visit it. Plenty of fun.

Rainbow Park can provide a great break for weary parents. The playground equipment, divided into 2 areas, can accommodate preschoolers as well as Elementary.
There's a fine beach volleyball court for adults and the best skateboard park in the county. There's also a quarter mile jogging track ringing the entire complex.
To top it all off, it's a terrific, safe sledding location in the winter that draws a lot of kids, young and old. Don't miss it!
