a few restaraunts, a large supermarket and a beautiful beach. not too crowded. St Augustine 10 minutes away for nightclubs & entertainment (if that's your thing) + a broader restaurant selection but for me the quiet & light crowds make it an excellent beach destination

Not really. The winter is the best time for the bigger shells. Sharks teeth can be found, not really large ones. The 25 years we have been going to Florida -- the Gulf/Venice is the best sharks teeth finding. With all construction, the beach is not the same It is also not so easy to walk on.. Sea walls are not doing much for the beach. There are no life guards along A1A from Vilano to Ponte Vedra. It is not that public.
