Inexpensive tram ride that has scenic views of the mountains. Highly recommend to do this trip once. The gift shop had the normal visitor items, but also had some unique items.

A jacket is recommended due to the wind. We had lots of fun looking at the different mountains from the observatory deck. The staff was very friendly and happy.

A nice, quiet diversion for a while. The tram to the top is nothing great, just a ride to the beutiful scenery. Very windy the day we were there. The view is what still takes natives like us, our breath away. That is worth the...More

I would highly recommend this attraction if you are in the area. The old tram was charming to ride on, and the views from the top were breathtaking. We also enjoyed the gift shop!

We rode the tramway up to the top--11,312 feet--at Monarch Pass, looking out 360-degree for miles. Spotted TWO lanes of smoke; told the conductor at the top, and he said that there was just ONE fire the day before! Maps of the surrounding mountains--a lot...More
