A nice place for the group to meet up at after a few hours of mountain biking, fishing, fun, shopping, eating, and drinking. The cement trail meanders along the river front and if you get the local city map(found in most businesses and rest) you...More

We made a quick stop for some fresh air and to see the river close up. I wish we could have spent more time! This is a great place to enjoy the local flora and the river is mesmerizing.

I'd give this a higher rating if there were more hiking trails along the river. It if fishing or water access is your thing then this gets a 5 star rating. Either way, it's lovely with tons of picnic spots.

The facility was nice enough and the staff were friendly and helpful. I still haven't gotten past the fact that they call this stream a river.

The headwaters of the Arkansas are a great prelude to the rapids downstream. Brown's Canyon is a great place for beginners to get their legs wet on white water and the lower canyon gives up some fresh wash for the thrill seekers.
