Saw the museum on Trip Advisor and decided to make the detour. Love this detour. All volunteer staff who are knowledgeable made this a great visit. The B-29 and the F-15 and 16 were great planes to see close up. Who knew this would be...More
If you are in the area, and you like history, do not miss this. Great place. Make sure you grab the book on the museum that explains the aircraft and exhibits. It is for sale, but you can use it and return it. I wish...More

Great planes, and they are in great shape. Good displays, friendly staff. We were greeted at the entrance by a 98 year old WWII veteran. It was an honor to visit the museum on the Fourth of July with my five year old. We had...More
The Greatest Generation is alive and well in this amazing facility. We were captivated and thrilled to have the honor to meet and listen to the fellows here. Had to keep remembering to close my jaw at the many and varied treasures housed at PWAM....More

I"m not a big fan of airport museums, but I did like the one in Pueblo. We rarely miss one if there's one to be seen. At Pueblo they have a really nice video of a B-29 that I watched and found really interesting (I bought a copy for my husband's Christmas present). The staff was very informative and had some nice things to tell me about the area and aircraft in the museum while my husband was looking at the displays. We also visited the Peterson Aircraft Museum in Colorado Springs and had a wonderful docent lead us around the facility explaining all of the aircraft displayed.
