You can see a lot of monkeys in the camp. They are friendly but a bit afraid of human. Some places are creepy scary cause it's too old. The church is beautiful. you need to drive otherwise you will walk for hours it's huge inside...More

The vietnamese camp is à Nice " Green place" with monkeys . Good for the kids. The place is clean . The memorium is interresting and we realize It Was very close to pur period of Time.

Place is of historical significance...but the 4 hour roundtrip from Batam was hardly worth it...lots of abandoned buildings, couple of boats that carried the refugees, and a small museum...

taxi maybe will cost more expensive than rental car + driver .. its take about 1 hour or more from Batam Centre Ferry terminal to get there ..
