Skip the tunnel. Get off I-70 and enjoy the short ride to the top for some incredible views (on a good day). Get out, and hike some of the trails for the best experience

If the pass is open, this is a lovely, short drive. The scenery is fantastic. Even our dog loved the stop here. You can hike up or down a bit.

We overheard a conversation about getting off of I 70 before the big tunnel and going over Loveland Pass instead. We decided to do just that. It was a brilliantly sunny day and we took our time going over the pass, stopping a many of...More

A scenic stop along highway 6. Small parking area. A few areas to hike and get gorgeous views of the continental divide.

The views are beautiful and the roads are winding while travelling to Loveland Pass. Once you reach there there are nice views all around as well. Hiking the trail would be awesome but did not have time to do it. Also usually it is cold...More

Stopped here on our way through the state on I70. So glad we did because everyone loved it! Incredible views and if it’s winter, it’s fun to watch the backcountry skiers and snowboarders. There was a steady stream of them when we stopped.

Worth a quick stop. This is one of those spots that you can remember for a lifetime. It's a spectacular view in all directions. In the winter, there is pretty much always someone there coming or going from back country skiing. I'm forever envious of...More

WORTH THE STOP - If your going up, make sure you pull over and clib up the mountain, there is even snow all year round.

Must see tourist view point and multiple trail heads for a quick photo opp or longer hike. During snow season you will find locals snapping into their equipment and cutting tracks to the valley. Simply an iconic Colorado feature.

The view is beautiful. However, we went in the summer with our RV and we went down roads in this area that were really hard to maneuver in an RV. It's not anyone's fault, but just wish we knew beforehand that traveling in an RV...More

I recommend Loveland pass there and Eisenhower back. Make sure to stop on the top of Loveland to enjoy the views and take pics. There will still be snow there and it's always windy and colde so have warm clothes. Enjoy!
