When we were there, it seemed that the produce we wanted (tomatoes) were not grown locally, but imported from Kansas.

Pope's is very convenient with a friendly and helpful staff. We especially like their Village PieMaker pies, you must try them! They also have a nice assortment of flowers, vegetables, etc. during season.

I have lived near many farmer's markets and roadside stands. Pope's does not measure up well. They have limited inventory, their prices seem high and its hard to find someone to answer questions. It baffles me. Vermont, Virginia, NJ, southern Colorado all have wonderful markets....More

I come here in the spring for veggie starts and flowers. Their quality and health of the plants are much better than the superstores. With their coupons in the paper and mailings, it makes the prices comparable to discount stores. The service is always really...More

I like to stop here for local, and farm fresh produce. Their prices are usually pretty decent, and they do get a lot of local fruits and vegetables. Quality is usually pretty good to excellent, but in ocassion it can be shoddy on some items...More
