I love to do an early morning walk here. The dogs also love it. Beautiful scenic setting, quiet, and full of birds for the casual birder.

This is a nice place, close in town for a walk to see the birds and waterfowl. Limited parking and most trails don't allow dogs, only the one on the north side of Prospect. Make SURE you clean up though so it is not ruined...More

A pleasant open space for a hike. Birding can be done but I have not had great luck there; some times of the year that would probably not be the case.

We enjoyed a very brief walk around some ponds to kill some time before heading back to Denver. I like that this is located right in the middle of town. But basically, it's some ponds with trails around them, and not much more.

This was the perfect length for a nice post-work walk, and was mostly paved walkways along with some well worn trails. Lots of birds, no snakes (that we could see), and lovely views.

This place is right in the middle of town, yet so hidden. Love the trails for walking and biking! Good place to relax

Riverbend Ponds offers a variety of walking paths just on the edge of town. Makes for a quick getaway and nice walk close in. A variety of ponds and some wildlife.

Delightful natural area in the middle of a mid sized city. It's a great place for bird watching. However, keep in mind that Fort Collins has a lot of obscure and seemingly illogical rules about the use of their natural areas which make the ones...More

Several short trails loop these ponds in marshy areas. It makes for a very relaxing walk. Parking area is small but easy to find. Popular fishing spot and I could see it being a great place to fish for several hours. My dog loved it.
