Booked a tour and discovered the tour was canceled due to only one staff working. The one staff member working alone was diligent in making sure everyone had fast service. As always, Great Divide makes great beer and the vibe was pretty chill the afternoon we were there.

Due to the reputation, I felt this was a must do on a Denver brewery hop. Beers were very good and lived up to the hype. This location is very small. Food truck was outside and that was pretty good. I did feel that the bartenders were slightly inattentive at times, but think this is a good stop for any tourist.

On a recent trip to Denver, my wife and I stopped into the Great Divide taproom on Arapahoe Street on a Sunday afternoon, just looking to try some local beers and get a feel for what they had to offer. Our experience was good, and I’d try their beer again if I had the opportunity.

I was a little surprised at how small the taproom was when we entered. It’s pretty bare bones, with limited space for guests. When we entered, the employee at the bar said to feel free to take any spot/table that’s free. All of the tables were taken in the late afternoon on a Sunday, but the main bar was empty, so we grabbed two barstools. Within an hour, it got more crowded, and some people were left with having to use a separate standing-only area that seemed cramped and uncomfortable. Service was also not the warmest - the employee at the bar was pretty curt, but she was efficient anytime anyone came up to the bar to place an order.

One thing I appreciated about Great Divide was that every beer was available in 4, 10, and 16 ounce pours. Since we were just looking to try a few things, it was nice that we could get as few or many beers as we wanted in the 4-ounce size and create our own flight/tasting. We aren’t big beer people, so we’re not the best to judge, but everything we had seemed pretty good. The only thing I tried that I didn’t like at Great Divide was their hard seltzer on tap.

We didn’t love the beer as much as we did at another brewery we had visited earlier that afternoon (Briar Common), but we felt Great Divide was still worth the stop. I don’t necessarily think I’d say Great Divide is a must-visit kind of place, but I know it’s well-known in the area and definitely can be worth a stop when looking for a classic Denver brewery experience.

Place was clean and located across from festival park. Stopped in for early dinner has steak tacos and Denver beer. Food was tasty and plentiful beer cold and had citrus taste. Would have liked to hear what everyone, 4 people sitting at the table were saying, but music was to load to hold normal conversations

I didn't expect it to be good. I mean it's food... in an airport. But, dang, it surprised me. IT WAS REALLY YUMMY. I got the fish & chips with a Corona. The fries were hand cut. The fish was perfectly breaded & not greasy. The tarter had a minor kick to it. The guy sitting next to me said he stops there everytime he's at the airport.

Quick service, good local beer and just the right snacks during our stopover. Friendly service. Will go again next time.

A solid choice in castle rock. Plenty of food and drink options. They seemed to follow the COVID restrictions with limited overall patrons and mask wearing staff. Service wasn’t amazing which was surprising considering the lack of tables. But would try again.

We got a few flights here to try a wide variety of their beers, and most everything we tried was great. Their peanut butter Yeti and their pumpkin porter were both particularly delicious. The server here was also fun and friendly, and gave us lots of great advice on what to try, what was good and what was hard to find elsewhere. Their patio is a little narrow but dog friendly, and the food trucks are great. Definitely recommended!

As is I just happened to be meandering downtown Denver scoping out breweries, Great Divide was right there. Strangely, their beers have made their way westward to Oregon, so I’d heard of them.
What can I say? Wasn’t interested in getting hammered, so I tried a few beers, and liked them all. Nothing jumped out at all, and that’s not a negative. Many breweries are starting to carry the same conventional set of beers, IPA’s, Hazy’s, etc. That’s good for the brewery industry. No two are the same, so like ordering a cheeseburger or pizza, setting foot into a brewery allows you to see their take on it.
Saying that, Great Divide’s Yeti series are worth checking out. Same for their seasonals. Their downtown spot is perfect to sample them and hang out and socialize. Or not.

Stopped at the Great Divide location at the Denver airport. On tap was the Anniversary Yeti Imperial Stout that carried a 13.5% ABV. This was a rich and chocolaty full bodied stout. Two 12 oz glasses was all I could handle. Delicious and stout was an understatement...
