Saw sign for oldest church in Colorado. We took the short drive to the Church, which was worth the time. Beautiful Church both inside and out.

Only a short distance from Antonito (Cumbres and Toltec railway) in a town with virtually no other buildings. Plain, simple and fresh, it's the oldest church in Colorado.

Beautiful church in a small town. Large building and nice lawn and garden area. Tombstone near front gate for the unborn is a special touch.

This is the oldest church in Colorado and apparently it had a fire in February 2016 you wouldn't know it. The church wasn't open when stopped by. The church is well kept up and the original stained glass windows are visible unfortunately they have plexi-glass...More

Although we were en route to Santa Fe, we went past this Church just to have a look. We could not go inside, but enjoyed the building itself, and the history.
