With no entry fee, you have little to lose other than time & petrol cruising through the park hoping that wildlife will be in sight. If you win, like we were lucky enough to do, a visit is well worthwhile. We saw many prarie dogs...More

The visitor center gives all sort of information about the history of this property and it is indeed amazing. The drive around the area is scenic and you can see bison, deer and lots of cute little prairie dogs. Best of all, this attraction is...More

Glad we found this - great experience. It was REALLY windy the day we went and the woman at the Visitor Center said we may not see a lot of wildlife because of the wind, but there were a lot of animals out, anyway. We...More

What an amazing place! So close to Denver and free as well. It’s well worth a visit. We had a wonderful drive. We did the 1.8 mile lake walk which had some lovely views and wildlife (birds and deer). We’d recommend the wildlife drive as...More

We went in the afternoon. Several buffalo were beside the road and we could see the herd in the distance. We saw migrating ducks, a bald eagle, an osprey, various hawks and a great blue heron. There were hundreds of deer.

I couldn’t believe a place like this exists right outside of the city! There’s tons of are for biking and running, as well as driving through to see the wildlife. They give the wildlife plenty of space, so you’re not always guaranteed to see Buffalo...More

We came upon this wildlife park with a wildlife drive around the park. Although in an area with houses it is large enough to allow a herd of bison to roam freely. Free to go in it is worth a visit. We saw many different...More

What a great place to go see bison, and not really that popular there basically weren't any people there and thinking it was in the weekend I was kind of surprised and as an extra bonus it's free to visit there! It's an 8 mile...More
