We went on base and visited the chapel. The chapel was stunningly gorgeous. I loved how it had different rooms for the different religions. A must see.

Even the chapels at the Air Force Academy have a hierarchy. The protestant church is the most beautiful, largest and above ground. Unseen in the beautiful landscape is the Catholic, Buddhist and Jewish chapels that are situated below the protestant church, underground. There is also...More

Although we stopped many different people and asked for directions we were still challenged to find the chapels. Finally did find them and they are definitely a must see!!! Absolutely beautiful and unique in their design. Don’t pass up!

Toured the whole facility with a former cadet parent. Had tour with volunteers at the chapel. Really good. Better get there before Dec. 31 when the whole chapel will be dismantled for repairs.Closed for 4 years then.

We visited the academy on 14 August in the afternoon. The tranquility and beauty is stunning. The visitor center is worth attending for at least one hour. The Catholic chapel has some information about the Shroud of Turin - this is worth reading.

Worth taking 2 hours to go to the visitor's center, see the 15 minutes movie they have regarding the experience students have here, walk to the chapel and notice the architecture. it's beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful! Nestled at the foot of the mountain, the USAF Academy Cadet Chapel is a stunning tribute to the men and women who have served and serve our nation.
