The only thing we want to mention is to caution there's a lot of goose poop but it happens, it didn't stop us from enjoying our kayaking on the water on this beautiful 95 degree day, it just made finding a spot to lay your...More

I've been here twice and was disappointed both times. The lifeguards really love their stringent rules (like no splashing or jumping off the floating thingy) and take all the fun out of swimming there. They'll claim it is for safety, but they take it to...More

Great place to spend the morning watching the Ironman race in Boulder. Not much shade available with big crowds, I would suggest bringing your own chairs and umbrella.

We are visiting Boulder for a week with our toddler. I thought a beach day sounded relaxing, however, we paid $7/adult to get in and found the beach to be a minefield of large bird poop. There was no shade on the beach and the...More

This is another nice part of Boulder. Motor boats are not allowed, but there is still a lot to see and do. Stand-up paddleboarders are common here among other water sports. And a lot of wildlife is here in the middle of town. Coyotes are...More

Boulder Reservoir is most popular in the summer for its beach shore and plenty of water sports (SUP, sailing, kayak, windsurfing, etc) but it is also beautiful in the fall and winter for running, biking or just walking your dog around the Rez with unobstructed...More
