Just a short trip from Boulder is the spectacular Boulder Falls. Walk up a nice trail to get a closer view. Beautiful! You might even see rock climbers on the rocks across the highway.

Falls are a 15 minute drive out of downtown. Has a small trail system where you can travel up close to the falls. Nice drive to get there with parking right near the entrance.

We visited the falls in the dead of winter and had to negotiate some icy paths, but it was so worth it. The mind can't imagine the beauty of nature as only God can create it.

The signs said closed, but some hikers were returning after going around chain and said that they have been coming for years, even after flooding caused closure. It was a short hike to the falls and though areas obviously needed to be shored up, it...More
