With only 2 hours, we were excited to see that the Mesa trail allowed for such a quick hike that summited high in the trees.

Mesa trail is a long trail through much varied terrain from the outskirts of Boulder to Chautauqua. Plan on plenty of time as this trail has ups and downs, and if you are from out of town it is over a mile high to start...More

Mesa trail is fun and gives you access to a host of other trails in the Flatirons, but it is very, very crowded, especially during the Summer. If you are a tourist, it is worth walking this path to take in as much of the...More

What a clean and beautiful place! Definitely beats hiking crowded, littered Chautauqua any day! I would highly recommend hiking here over any other place in Boulder!

A great trail. 6 miles 1 way, but you can shuttle cars, and can do part of. Especially nice in late spring and early summer. Wild flowers, some wild life. Take water!

You can walk your dogs here, bike; skate ski when it snows. It is beautiful; Boulder is lucky. I live in south Boulder and we love this because it is so accesible. It's our Mt. Snitas trail.
