Its a park that was one of the most toxic places in Sydney. I would hesitate coming here on a wet day or let you children play here. I do know of people who have cut them selves in similar park and have contracted septicemia....More

If you are coming in for a BBQ then get in as earl;y as 7:30 -8 am since people with large families block the BBQ pits. Good idea to carry a picnic sheet & munchies if you are not in mood to BBQ

The BBQ area is enormous & well appointed. It's nice & close to concord west train station and a lovely, clean family-friendly spot. I walk my dog here often or walk through to the aquatic centre with the kids. Always a pleasure!

From Bicentennial Park, go to Olympics Park and there is a tourist guide department which can provide location and directions and details. Otherwise ask any other local personnel in the Olympic Park for location and direction
