I’ve used the ferry to get to the Embarcadero Bldg three times and has been great so far. It’s a $26/RT or you can use the bart pass for $22/RT. I’ve gone with friends and solo feeling safe. There is a mini bar inside and...More

Clean ship, nice way to travel as an alternate to driving. Nice to see city from the water. Get there early, they cut off taking passengers and you’re left til the next one.

This is the most convenient way to go to SF. Only about 40 mins ride from Vallejo and hassle free. Parking at vallejo marina is only $5 a day. But I suggest you come early. Parking lot gets full pretty early from regular commuters.

When living in Sacramento this was a must trip for every out of town guest. Conveniently miss the traffic into and out of the city. Relax. Enjoy the views. Layer and expect it to be cooler than you think.

The ferry is a great way to get to SF but also a very fun weekend adventure to the city for lunch. No driving, bridge, parking... Just a beautiful ride with drinks and a great view.

Some of the ferrys do go to Fishermans Wharf. I believe on the ferry schedule they call it pier 41. Watch the schedule for which times make this stop. Be sure to consider both going no coming. Otherwise all the ferrys go to... More
