A small museum in a old caboose. Much packed in a small space, the volunteer was most helpful in answering questions and sharing experiences.

See the real railroad equipment and the models shoeing some of the snow removal equipment . Takes five to 20 mins and has a volunteer available to tell stories.

If you are in Truckee and you care at all about trains you should stop by. Right at the train depot in an old caboose, very cool and lots of train info from a bunch of dedicated volunteers.

Extremely small but you can see that from the size of the rail car. Somewhat interesting old pictures and such. Give it 10 minutes unless you are a real rail buff, then maybe 30 min.
