I knew the marsh existed, but never knew about the Nature Center building. It has a big parking lot, very nice. There are all sorts of interesting exhibits, it's a kid's paradise. They got live critters, like turtles. And they have pelts, like a skunk's,...More

Great place to go for a walk, plant some trees, pull some weeds or help out on community service projects through schools, Boys Scouts or Girl Scouts.

I have gone here several times since it is walking distance from where my daughter lives. One time I did take my granddaughter there though and it said it was OPEN but it was locked and closed. Not sure why.

Small marsh in the middle of the city. The marsh has a short trail around the perimeter. There are a couple of small ponds surround by trees, native plants, and wildlife (if you're lucky). The visitor center is small but very nice. Lots of displays...More

The Madrona Marsh is a nice respite from the city. It is an oasis with nice short trails to walk around a body of water. I'm sure all the birds who live there enjoy it.
