The beach is nice & this home is awesome from the outside. I understand that seasonally they give tours of the home. The home is part of the park, so one call see & enjoy the outside as long as the park is open

We stay in North Shore and frequently drive over to see The Mansion... You Say Hellmans - we say Best Foods- same thing and this is the family Tahoe estate.

While it's true this is not an opulent mansion, it's still taking a trip back into history and seeing how a wealthy family lived in their summer home. The rooms are set up to look like they did in their hey-day, which is a fascinating...More

I was surprised not to see this park listed for itself. Yes, the Hellman-Erman Mansion is in the park, but the park is a gem. You can visit the house for $10, unfortunately we arrived too late to do so but had a good look...More

A tour of this beautiful Tahoe mansion is a must for anyone visiting Sugar Pine State Park. After paying entrance fee, go to the visitor center to get a house tour ticket. Bring your picnic and beach chair to sit at the lake side.
