We go to commons beach several times during the summer for the free concerts on the beach. Check the schedule for the groups that are playing, some are quite famous, some local. It’s probably one of the most beautiful venues in the world for music....More

Places for the children to play on sweet playground equipment. The beach is such a wonderful attraction here! People were delightful who were at the park. Nice long walk way along the beach too! Sweet!!

Perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming and picnicking. Clean and beautiful setting. We found a great shady spot to hang hammock and felt very safe napping. Kayak and paddle board rental was very convenient. Picnic sites and children's playgrounds are located within a large lakefront grass...More

We stopped off here on our way out of Tahoe and had a beautiful walk. There are a ton of shops and restaurants and we grabbed some deli sandwiches and had a little picnic in the park.

This is a very well thought out trail along the lake edge. Paved with benches well placed for that occasional rest. Was under the oppression that park was dog friendly, but that is not the case. Dogs are allowed on the trail that skirts the...More

We attended a post-wedding picnic for my daughter here that was great fun. Someone in the group had been tasked with corralling a space and bringing a table prior to one of the summer concerts. It is a flat beach area with grass, perfect for...More

I’ve never had a problem with it, I supposed if you were rowdy, there might be a problem. In the summer on Sundays there are free concerts, they sell beer and we bring wine.
