Great for hiking, private, secluded, peaceful. Amazing place to go alone or with kids. I have been many times. Too bad this place couldn't be saved and resurrected!

Fun to explore the old movie sites but also good for a hike or bike ride. Make sure to bring water if going up the hill and through the tunnel and into the larger trail system. Lot's of signs with descriptions of what movies were filmed at the location and some remaining foundations of the original ranch site. Tarzan lake was fun for the kids.

The Corrigan Movie Ranch is a fun and interesting nature walk in the sparse hills of Simi Valley, easily accessible year round. the set are all gone, but interpretive signs tell you where hundreds of movie and television scenes were filmed. Give it 90 minutes.

When I was ten years old, I spent a great deal of time in this venue by watching Bob Steele, Hoot Gibson, Ken Maynard, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers and Rin Tin Tin on television. Now, at the age of 75, I feel that I am walking on holy ground as I hike the boulders, mesas, and Canyons of Corriganville.

Great regional park with Hollywood history! You might even see a new production being filmed. Historical markers add information. The park has doubled for Ancient Rome, Imperial Russia and Africa, even Robin Hood 's merry old England! Bring a picnic, there are picnic tables. Facilities are basic, porta potties are usually well maintained. The Santa Susanna Depot nearby is also worth a visit!

Found this by chance as we were looking for someplace new for an afternoon hike. It was a nice hike which was made even more enjoyable with the placards describing the movie history.

Wonderful area to learn about the history, flora and fauna in the area. Enjoyed especially the "pond" where so many movies have been made.

This park was once a movie set for many of the mid 1900s western movies and TV programs. Lassie, Rin Tin Tin, Lone Ranger were all filmed here. It is still being used today for movies and shows. There is a short and informative little hike that's worth taking. Keep an eye out for the foundations of the old western town buildings. The studios had built another town for a movie that they were shooting earlier this year. in our warmer months, be sure to take along water and watch out for our friends, the Rattlesnakes.
