Loved visiting the pier. There’s beach access & the pier itself has gorgeous views of the ocean/beach. The arcade and pacific park really topped off the whole experience

Loved the roller coaster and the Ferris wheel. Live music and convivial crowd. There were a lot of people there but not oppressively so and it's a short walk from the beach and to some good restaurants and shops (the 3rd Street Promenade).
