We spent a few hours here in the afternoon. A lot of nice shops to look around and some street entertainment and some restaurants.

This is a good shopping area, very clean and with a mix of well known stores. There are cinemas dotted amongst the shops. Some dinosaurs with water fountains make a lovely feature of the shopping area. A pleasant place to be.

This is a must see too if you’re in the Santa Monica area. Every type of shopping you could want from high end to everyday. Lots of food and restaurant choices.

Great range of shops available here as well as some top restaurants. A lot of homeless, which is very sad to see. Can’t seem to find ‘little ruby’ on here to rate. But it’s an Aussie cafe & for a fellow Aussie, it was exactly...More

When I went here it was one of the first times that I’ve ever been somewhere where they have shops on a street. Not just any regular shops, but shops that I actually shop at. The whole vibe was good.

Stores come and go on the promnade. Some are interesting and some are just OK. In the end this is just an outdoor shopping mall.

Another great place to escape the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, Santa Monica is a great place to visit, some great restaurants down the end of the promenade to try and a short walk to the pier must be included, especially at sunset

Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a
balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a
thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers,
roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the
famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles
weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa
Monica pier spins high above the water, while park
revelers scream with delight riding the roller

I saw water bowls outside and lots of small dogs so on the walk/street I'd say yes. However in the stores it's probably a store by store decision.
