Went into a “wine shop” to purchase a bottle of wine and was told you can’t buy a bottle of wine. Very strange for such an establishment.

We were pretty much ignored when we walked in. My wife got a glass of wine, which was fine. We wanted a snack as well, but they weren't serving, which is also fine, but I then had to ask if I could buy a snack from the adjacent bakery. We got a $14 bag of nuts.

We always love stopping here while visiting SB. Great selections of wine, and wine flights. Cute courtyard/patio area. Right in the Funk Zone.

Attended a private evening event at the Santa Barbara Wine Collective. Very cordial and intimate setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Great selection of wines to taste and a good selection of items to eat. The venue is a bit difficult to find, however, as it shares its address with another place called The Lark. The SB Wine Collective is in the back of the address and is best accessed via an alley street near the corner of E. Yanonali St. and Helena. Look for a narrow orange and white vertical sign painted on the corner of the building, underneath the sign for the Helena Avenue Bakery.

Attended a private event, a wedding rehearsal gathering and it was a delightful experience. The food was creative and my Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir was smooth with a wonderful aftertaste and matched the food selection perfectly. Tastefully industrial and chic.

We stopped for wine tasting after having lunch at the adjoining bakery. Great place to try a variety of different wine producers. Only downside is that they don’t ship. Staff was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed it.

Do you like Red Wine? Sparkling? White? Rose? Sweet? Basically, they have it all. Why only try a few types of wines from 1 winery when you can try them all from all over Santa Barbara county!

They have a great outdoor space, great people and Helena Bakery is also there!

Basically, it's amazing and you should go

We were visiting from the east coast. We had met a friend who had taken us here for a taste. Well, we were presently surprised as to the cost for a taste as opposed to the east coast. It was rather a shot in the dark as to what we would try and considering the price, it was just a one taste event. Unfortunately, we are not fans of the dry wines and the one we picked was definitely in that dry zone. Place seemed very nice and probably a pretty good hang out for locals. If you like the dry's and not afraid to go out of your budget, give it a try. There is also a eating place within the same building but different hours.
