The first thing I said when we arrived at the Funk Zone is how much fun it would be to take my wine group here. We are eight women who travel to wine country. But I don’t think this zone is suitable for people with...More

Err...funky little place, we did the Urban Wine Trail calling in at DV8 and Santa Barbara Wine Collective and finishing at Figueroa Brewing Co. All with the stunning mountains as the backdrop

Perhaps our timing was off since we arrived early in the day.....but there wasn't much to do or see in the Funk Zone. There are only a handful of shops and they are pricey. I imagine the place gets more lively later in they day/night.

My girlfriend and I stopped by here on our way home from Nor Cal and we decided to check out the “funk zone” because of it’s reputation. This area sums up Santa Barbra pretty well. A bunch of over priced yuppie garbage that’s more “beach”...More

The Funk Zone.. the cannery row of Santa Barbara. Go back in time and visit the oldest and best of Santa Barbara. coming by car, boat, train, horse, make your way to the Funk Zone. The best of dining, wineries, old time breweries, believe it...More

There are great places to eat from breakfast until dinner, plenty of places to drink where you will find something you like. The area is casual and informal with some venues having live music. We were only unhappy with one place, which was Area 51...More

This zone can be easily walked & is comprised of artsy Wine & breweries, as well as electric shops. It's one of the highlights of the area.

Area comes alive from 3pm. Eclectic mix of wine tasting rooms, galleries, vintage shops, brew bars and restaurants. Tasted wine at SB Wine Collective. Great place, knowledgable service, has a bakery/deli so we got a cheese platter to go with our wine. Had a few...More

I was under the impression that this was an area of shops, not just wine tasting, and I was disappointed to find that it was nothing but a handful of wine tasting establishments along with a few bars. No big deal, skip unless you love...More

This place rocks. With perfect poor beers from a cool led magnetic beer contraption. Super cool. Killer BBQ and snacks. Maple bourbon bacon bites and street corn are a must. Along with watermelon ribs and fish tacos. Salads are fresh and healthy in half and...More
