This is one of the most iconic places in Saaremaa, and represents it's core values most brilliantly. It used to be free visit, but not anymore and everything that can be charged is charged. As in tourist attractions all over the world who have understood,...More

This place is one of must places in Saaremaa. All families in Angla village had their own windmill, because they were unable to make cooperation with each other. Now only five left for take a look as history.

The entrance fee is 3,50 euros, which seems to be quite a lot regarding 5 windmills standing together, especially when you can see all of them from the road. There are probably some detailed information in one or two of them (it seems like we...More

You can see inside the windmills and learn about their history. There are also old farming equipment and farm animals to see. We could also dine there. They have their own bread that they offer on the side of the dishes as well as to...More

Can learn And see windmills (local ones, plus a Dutch one). All very neat and well Maintained. Kids also had fun. Went early, before some bus loads of tourists came (I guess then it gets crowded since the mills are not very big inside).

We visited the windmill park in early July. There were quite a lot of tourists on that day. The admission fee was few euros (maybe four). You can enter the windmills and there are cute farm animals as well.

We had stopped at the windmill attraction on Muhu and were disappointed. But not here on Saaremaa! The Angla has a collection of windmills that help understand the history of how windmills have changed. There are several that you can climb into to see the...More
