First off, I have grown up in Redondo Beach, and I love visiting Northern California and Oregon Beach towns, because they are timeless. I do not subscribe to the theory everything has to be new. I love the cobblestone streets in Italy and Germany. I...More

Loads to do and see here, lots of little shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy. The crabs and lobsters on offer are excellent. There's also great little touristy shops where you can pick up a gift for home. Well worth a visit.

When we were there in december 2016, a lot of seals were lying on their back in the sea near the pier, enjoying the sun shing on their belly.
