I grew up going to Stoneridge as it was the closest mall in town. It's clean, it's well laid out so why 2 stars?
I fear it's headed into dead mall territory as anchors go out of business and more stores close up shop.
I noticed that some of the shops were closed on a Saturday, 1/29/22 with signs that said "temporarily closed." Eh, that's a way of saying they're not paying employees market rate for labor.
Seems like Stoneridge is losing market share to places like the new, fancy Bishop Ranch shopping center in San Ramon or the outlet mall on the Pleasanton / Livermore border.

This mall is easily accessible from BART and both 580 and 680 freeways. It has a decent variety of stores and restaurants and the working hours are not that short. It has gone through some recent renovations and looks a little more upscale than before.
The Macy's store onsite it good and CPK, PF Chang's and Cheesecake Factory are some of the better restaurants over here. They also have an indoor play area for little kids.

Stoneridge Shopping Center at Pleasanton is a great place to shop and enjoy an outing with family and friends. It houses leading brands in Fashion, Apparel, Cosmetics, Footwear, Sunglasses, Toys, Cell Phones, Restaurants etc. Some of them are Macy, JC Penny, Forever 21, H&M, Zara, Apple and many, many more. There are numerous multi-cuisine restaurants where one can dine and enjoy a meal. We enjoyed a delicious meal at The Cheese Cake Factory. The Center is well decorated during festive occasions.

This mall has the stores you typically go to the mall for. Macy's, Nordstrom, etc. The department stores are nice and well stocked. The outside of the mall could use some refurbishing.

What really caught my attention after travelling to many countries and as a woman you never miss shopping, this shopping mall was selling cheap china made stuff for 10 times higher prices than you can buy the same in neighbouring countries or elsewhere 8n the world. I found this shopping mall overpriced, not very customer friendly as it is not easy to orientate and no one to ask. The restaurants are all about usual fat food and if you d9 not book in advance count on being hungry for another an hour before you even get a table.

We have shopped at Stoneridge Shopping Center, which is a two floor mall in Pleasanton. For the hub stores, there is Nordstrom, Macy's, JC Penny's and Sears. There is a lot of smaller stores such as clothing, an Apple products store, handbags (Coach, Fossil). and stores focusisng on the home and gadgetry such as Brookstone. Williams Sonoma, and so forth. There are high end sunglass stores, and more, A complete directory can be found on the mall's web site.
There are places to bring one's children such as the Lego store and Build a Bear. There are play areas for the children.
While the shopping center does not have a "food court" for common seating, these types of stores are throughout the mall, many of which have their own sit down seating. They also have a Buckhorn, PF Chang, and Cheesecake Factory. There are candy stores such as Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company, Godiva, See's, and the Sweet Factory. Our personal favorites is Buckhorn, Cheesecake Factory and See's.
And of course there is a Starbucks, plus by Nordstrom, there is ebar. By both of these there is a lot of table seating so it makes for a good place to meet up when shopping.
For atmosphere, there are some playful statues such as two people sailing a kite and they decorate for the holidays such as Easter. On this trip, we "met" the Easter Bunny. There is a lot of comfortable seating, including cushioned chairs and couches, in different areas of the mall.
There is a lot of free parking surrounding the shopping center.
For the Pleasanton area, it is large and very good shopping center. We have enjoyed shopping there.
