Visited this museum back in the late 80's while in the Navy. Was very impressed with the improvements made. Completly run by volunteers, check their website for time of trolley rides. Closed the gift shop early and didn't a chance to browse. Wouldn't recommend going...More

Great experience as engineer of train locomotive. It was a lifetime desirw to be the engineer of a locomotive; had grand children with me fot lookout and horn blowing.

A great place for the family. Lots of train history and friendly people to talk with about trains. You can even ride some of the trains and old street cars to get a real feel of how it use to be.

Every year we take the kids there, history is static in that place and in November you can ride Thomas the Train, December is Santa for sure....we love it!

While we enjoyed the visit here it is really oversold in the many reviews. They could do much better. However if your thing is street cars this is the place as they probably have a dozen of them and they're all operating around the museum...More
