The course was in top shape as we played it two days before they closed it for the US Amateur. The greens were perfect and fast. There aren't alot of amenities other then the pro shop and a small building for food at the turn...More
One of the premier public courses in the US. Very difficult, long rounds as a result. Front nine goes down to ocean, 6th hole inward is in the pines. Play the tees for your handicap, even then it's very tough.
This is another great golf course on the Monterey Peninsula. It is different from Pebble Beach in that you only really experience the ocean for the first 5 holes and then after that it is much more reminiscent of a North Carolina course like Pinehurst....More
