The "Inn at Croad Vineyards" is a great location with spectacular views of vineyards and countryside and serene peaceful welcoming environment. We visit Paso Robles once a year and have stayed here multiple times in this Inn. We are also members of the wine club and consider their delicious wines to be in a top 3 best wineries in Paso. Complimentary tasting is included with a continental breakfast. It is relaxing to sit down in the evening sipping wonderful wine in front of the real fire place and listening to music of your choice. The owner checks every morning and evening on your needs and makes sure you are comfortable. Thank you Martin, we had a blast visiting your gem!

We stopped at four wineries and this was our favorite! The owner was super hospitable and the wines were excellent! Very bold and the view is awesome. Definitely add to your list next time you are in Paso!

I would like to highlight the hospitality of the owner and his employees, which made our stay truly unforgettable.
In this winery they use dry farming which means that the grapes do not need irrigation and that is very environmentally friendly, in my opinion. The wine need a longer time to mature and Martin does not spare on anything to achieve top results, for ex. he keeps it three years in the barrels.
Accommodation is in Mexican style and very nice and stylish. We had access to big kitchen and different common spaces.
Finally, we had an amazing neighbors and made some kick ass pizza together 😀

Croad sits tucked away with great views on the west side of Paso. It has an Inn in addition to the winery. They are a bit unusual as they offer a happy hour in the afternoon. Not aware of another vineyard that does that. Reservations suggested, but they seemed very open to drop ins. There was a large group from one of the wine tours while we were there.

Lots of of outdoor and indoor area for tasting.

We elected for an elevated tasting experience. I contacted them and set up a vineyard tour and barrel tasting in addition to our regular tasting. We had the pleasure of the engaging Martin Croad as our guide. Hopped in his vineyard Jeep and had an informative ride around the property. Then we hit the barrel room for several different barrel samples. To top off the visit, we had our regular tasting. If you are looking for something different, I recommend trying to book this experience.

Nice overall experience with solid wines. Views alone are worth a visit.

Stopped here last Wednesday on our last day in the area. Fellow guests at our Cambria lodging were headed here, so we decided to check it out. Tasted some amazing wines (Zinfandels a specialty here) & enjoyed a great view! They also have a few lovely rooms you can stay in. Looks like a great place to stay & definitely is a great place to taste wine!

Really love the Zinfandels here. The view and sound of the fountain while tasting is awesome. Martin is really down to earth, however it can be a bit snooty here...the wines are well worth it however.

Lovely Spanish mission-style building serving as a winery, sitting on a hilltop with a lovely view of its surrounding property. They serve fine Zinfandel and Rhône blend wines, which we enjoyed while sitting on the veranda overlooking the fountain on the stone patio below.
The main tasting room is beautifully decorated, with lots of comfortable sofas and chairs scatted around. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
The wines are not cheap but certainly worth the cost.
TIP: This off the path, Vineyard has a very nice property for rent with incredible views.

Croat, winery has magnificent hilltop views and excellent wines. The owners Patti and her Kiwi husband whose name I have forgot ( sorry mate! ) are warm and unpretentious ,which is a breath of fresh air in the region . Of the half a dozen wineries that we visited this was our favorite.

We took over the Croad Inn (four luxurious rooms) for the weekend and had the most amazing time. From the vineyard and magical views seen from a multitude of seating areas, we were transported to another world where peace and serenity restore ones soul. Our group of four couples all thoroughly enjoyed this special venue and highly recommend it. The owners, Martin & Patty leave no stones unturned with their creativity and architectural brilliance! This is a place where nature meets rustic decor with the utmost class! This was our third visit and will definitely not be our last!!
