You will not be disappointed. Wine and scenery are both great.
We went here out of curiosity but were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The sculptures inside and out are amazing and the wines in our tasting were great, too. Our host was very knowledgeable and warm. Don’t miss this place. They are right with their slogan - it’s a “hidden gem.”

An amazing day of art and wine in Paso!
Just the most beautiful experience! As we were looking for something artistic & interesting, we came across Sculpterra Winery & Sculptural Garden. Amazing!! We have been to many wineries over the years but this by far was the most beautiful. Not only are the sculptures by John Jagger, Dale Evers & Bob Bentley (to name a few artists) fantastic, but the gardens, lighting, outdoor settings…..all extraordinary. Be ready to meander for hours in these gorgeous gardens & of course sample their lovely wine. It appears they have live music & festivals throughout the year, so we definitely plan to return. The winery itself is architecturally a beautiful building & the lighting spectacular.

Wine country with an artful twist, for all the family
Visited Sculpterra on our way to the Sierras. While I did not partake in the wine tasting, my wife enjoyed it quite a bit. The woman serving us and assisting us with the tasting and selection was very knowledgeable and really helpful. We bought a bottle to enjoy in our hotel later. To be brutally honest, it wasn't the greatest pinot noir I've had and it wasn't cheap. Although there were other samples on the tasting menu that were far better, but twice the price. So there's that. Outside, the sculpture garden is fantastic. We spent a couple of hours wandering the grounds. Some of the art is truly excellent. So even if wine isn't your thing, this place is worth a visit if you are in the area just to get some fresh air and stretch your legs. Make sure to walk through the vineyard up to the hammocks in 'Pauls Forest' for a very relaxing time-out in a wonderfully tranquil location. We'll be back and try a different bottle next time.

    A must visit!
Wonderful experience. This is a destination winery with beautiful grounds, vineyards, and great wines. Take the time to hear the history during a tasting, then walk the grounds with a glass (or two) of wine. Both Iddy and Randi were very pleasant and made the visit even more wonderful. This is the only wine club we joined this trip, and we highly recommend making Sculperra a destination.

    Beautiful property Great Wine
We loved this winery. Such a great way to spend a morning on a family vacation. Frazier was wonderful and as we had our tasting with him our teenagers were able to play ping pong. We loved the wines so much we purchased a case to be shipped across the country! After visiting other wineries in the area we were truly able to appreciate what a good decision that was. These wines were the best we tried during our stay. After our tasting we walked the property a bit and then sat down and listened to a live band while eating some delicious food from a food truck that was on site. All in all a great day. Only two things of mentions. There is only a (beautiful) one person bathroom onsite (one women one men). There is also the possibility that a private party can come and take all those cool games you may have planned for your kids to play…away. Our kids were kicked off of the game tables about 10 min after they got on and ended up coming and sitting at a table nearby us while we finished our tasting. Great spot though. Was still laid back place for them to sit.

Interesting grounds to explore their sculptures.
I would recommend stopping by this winery to stroll through the paths experiencing the many sculptures they have on display. We did enjoy the grounds a lot. We also did taste a couple of wines and found their premium wines were very good and did buy a couple of bottles; however, if you aren't interested in purchasing any wine, you are not pressured into exiting through the tasting room where you could feel trapped. You can simply go out the way you came in and continue on with your day.

This winery is located quite a ways east of Paso Robles, but is very much worth the drive out to it. The grounds are amazing with an abundance of sculpture to ponder, as well as interesting railings and gates. We brought our picnic lunch and also went for a stroll through the vineyard. Pets, kids, and outside food are allowed on the grounds outside of the winery.

We reserved a tasting at this winery and thoroughly enjoyed our tasting. Our server, Donna, was very nice and was very knowledgeable about this wines that she served us, as well as the art work on the property. There is a nice selection of both whites and reds, and many of the wines are blends of some interesting grape varieties. We came away with 6 bottles to take home. We recommend the winery for a tasting in Paso Robles, although the winery is quite a ways out of town to the east.

Donna gave wonderful tour of the Sculpture Garden with personal stories about the artists, their sculptures and the acquisition of them. She has direct knowledge from her interactions with the principals. It was a delightful and highly informative tour followed with a nice tasting of their wines. We highly recommend this tour.

This is another family-run winery, the only difference from other wineries is its collection of interesting bronze and stone statues. Very friendly staff, serving an assortment of blended wines, Dog-friendly and a perfect place for a picnic under the shade of the trees.
There is also a bocci ball court and stone ping pong table. The gift shop has miniatures and replicas of the giant brass & bronze sculptures found in their garden for sale.
In the garden is a historic photo album wall of Paso Robles, dating back to the Spaniards. For dining, they have a food truck with a reasonable selection of dishes at a fair price.
TIP: Reservation times are fairly rigid, so book early and do not be late.

We should have listened to people telling us not to come here, but we were intrigued by the art and decided to check it out. Upon arriving at the tasting bar, we were completely ignored by our server until she was done with another party, not even given a splash of something to get us started while she finished with them, about 15 minutes on a hot day. Once we saw the tasting notes, which BLATANTLY requested tips for the server (how tacky!) we were given miniscule tastes of some terrible juice. The Pinot Grigio was passable so I thought I'd get a couple bottles just to get the tasting fee waived. But unlike EVERY winery I've been to in my life (so, so many) they do not extend this practice. We got the hell out of there. And we'll warn others and stress that they must heed our warning so they don't waste their time and money on this debacle.

Location / Ambience / Service: 4
Wine: 2

It’s hard for me to rate this place. I liked everything, except the wine. It’s a winery so I have to base my rating on the wine right? Or maybe it’s just a nice park that happens to serve wine? In that case it’s a 4.

Overall, it’s a great place to come with your friends and family, enjoy the grounds, get some food if it’s the weekend, and drink some not so great wine.

We came early on a Friday so there weren’t many people around but they did have a Greek food truck on the premises. Normally the tastings are standing only but the waitress was nice enough to bring our tastings over to us in the sitting area outside. They probably wouldn’t be able to do that during a busier time though. Overall the service was friendly and great. As for the location, the grounds are well kept and the statues are great.

Now for the wines. They give you 8 wines for a $20 tasting, which is quite good. But most of those wines are quite bad. The style here is overripe and sweet. And I mean residual sugar sweet, not just fruit forward. These are both, and that made most of the wines rather off putting for me. The only one I found palatable was the Reserve Primitivo. I may have even taken a bottle home, but they don’t offer to waive the tasting fee for bottle purchases like pretty much every other winery does.

It is a nice place to hang out and relax. And if you’re not picky about your wine quality you might not even notice the sub-par wines.

Perfect end to our girls trip to Paso Robles. Of all the wineries we visited, Sculpterra was our favorite! Amazing ambiance and great tasting wine. Shelly who assisted us in our tasting was so knowledgeable and patient with us. Really wished we had gotten there sooner to be able to enjoy the music more. On the weekends they have live music until 3:30pm so plan accordingly. On our next girls trip we will be returning!

We made a reservation due to Covid (thankfully months in advance) and had a very personalized experience. We ended up purchasing the Port, which was AMAZING, and a bottle of the 2019 Winemaker Signature IV, which we will save for a few years to drink ($200....eek). The boys & men in our party played Bocce ball & the grounds were gorgeous. Definitely plan on returning.

Don’t wait too long to make a reservation here on a weekend. We did and had to settle for a bar reservation but did end up getting moved over to the outside tasting area. Our wine expert was knowledgable about the wines and hearing the background of the owners and the collection of art was very interesting. We would definitely go back again. Good wine, stunning setting and sculptures

One of the nicest wineries I have visited. The winery is beautiful and full of art, including sculptures and paintings. The wines are delicious, moderately priced, and my sommelier Savannah Russell was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant.

This is a nice place for families to interact with nature, wine taste, see nice sculptures, and learn about the local history. Without wine tasting we spent 3 hours visiting the winery and sculptures. Three bands played music while we were there. You're on your own about the wine.
