Fine overview of local history
Jan 2020
Excellent collection of displays representing a variety of aspects of the county's history, with emphasis on lives of early settler and their progeny. Many period photos, displays of early farm equipment, significant buildings. Spend an hour or so here, you won't be disappointed.

A Little Jewel in Paso Robles
Sep 2019
On a whim, we visited this museum and really enjoyed it. The exhibits were informative and very well put-together. Also lovingly maintained and staffed by helpful volunteers. As native Southern Californians we appreciated learning about the history of this part of our home state. My favorite exhibit was the barbed wire display - its history and all the different kinds! The museum is free, and we gave them a donation before we left. Highly recommend a visit!

This was a great addition to our afternoon schedule. The museum has been put together with the loving care of the community. We were only able to spend an hour, but would love to come back at a future time. Definitely worth visiting.

Small Town History For All
May 2019 • Solo
With 1000's of historical items, knowledgeable and friendly docents and an endless supply of interesting facts, this is a stop that is worth it to make! Paso Robles has an amazing history and so much of it is captured in this little jewel! There is no charge for the museum, but after you see everything that is in the facility, you'll want to make a donation!

Large display of so many thing of interest from that time period - many of us have lived thru part of it. Great examples of the living style some 100 years ago. Put together bu many volunteers. Take the time to see and and drop in a little donation as you go!
