It’s a nice hike where you follow a nice clean trail to see 2 dishes , one big and one small. Parking is limited and hence a little rush. As you climb up, you will see beautiful views of Bay Area. Nice place for a...More

Good exercise and very scenic; a bit more crowded than secluded; convenient parking nearby; bummer for no dogs

This "hike" offers excellent bay area views. We were able to see all the way to the Bay Bridge in San Francisco. The entire walk is paved. No restrooms. There is no shade, so this is a better cool weather hike.

warning! There are lots of uphills and downhills--it's a good workout. Takes about a hour to walk. Bring water! You can enter from the front (off Junipero Serra) or from the back (off Alpine) where you go through a field of cows.

A morning walk amongst the higher end folks of the SF Bay Area and lots of Stanford students. Great views. Some wildlife and good feelings. We always go in from the Alpine Road entrance which is quite if a bit longer walk. Worth it.

Always great to enjoy a sunrise walk to the dish. Beautiful scenery. About a 3 mike loop with just enough challenge.
