It is well worth a visit to Stanford University if you are around! Amazing architecture with a breathtaking environment to spend some time. The university houses a bookstore (closes around 7pm) where you can choose a variety of Stanford University official merchandise.

The dramatic approach-street is lined with palm trees, making an incredibly pleasing picture. The beautiful architecture is themed throughout, and very photogenic.Totally our visit was what I would call comforting.

This is a gorgeous campus. Plenty of visitor parking if you show up early. Make sure you visit the central Quad area. Wear nice walking shoes.

I would say to just avoid on campus driving and parking. I'd stay on the perimeter (maybe park at a shopping center) and walk in because parking is tight, traffic on campus is very slow with people arriving, and it takes... More
