Though I'm a proud and loyal UCLA Bruin, I came to Stanford for a short course via their School of Business! I must say the campus is beautiful, the staff and faculty I've met are amazing and so while I will still cheer for my...More

Stanford excels at training computer scientists for Silicon Valley (and MBAs to manage their finances). It’s also strong across almost all the other fields (though humanities and social science get less proportionate attention). As a student destination, it’s hard to go wrong. It’s many research...More

The walking tour of Stanford, conducted by one of its students, requires a little stamina and fitness to keep up with the tour guide :)! This is a beautiful campus - it would probably be a joy to study here - and stay fit. We...More

Since we were in California to celebrate our cousin's 70th birthday, and he's a Stanford alum, we stopped by to walk around campus. As you might expect, we saw the clock (which didn't look like a tower to me) and the Hoover Tower (although I...More

I've never been a Stanford student thus I can assess only the campus buildings. The campus itself reminds me of an old Spanish church with palm trees, arched columns and large courtyard. I've been to a lot of campuses across North America and Europe and...More

First advice: take a guided tour, a bike, and go to the restroom. The facilities complex is way huge and you will need to walk or bike a lot. Buildings are very neat and everything is tidy, although you can feel a great atmosphere.

Stanford has arguably the best college campus in the world. The beauty of the campus can't really be described by words. You have to get there yourself to experience the beauty of the campus, for it is too big and grand. It is easy to...More

Truly a beautiful campus to visit. We enjoyed walking around and taking in so many buildings with wonderful architecture. Classy students and a great atmosphere. Even enjoyed some great food on campus.

I would say to just avoid on campus driving and parking. I'd stay on the perimeter (maybe park at a shopping center) and walk in because parking is tight, traffic on campus is very slow with people arriving, and it takes... More
