What a fun evening! Lots of great craft stalls, musicians and food. Neat part of town. Would definitely do it again.

We only had two days in Palm Desert / Palm Springs, and we were lucky to be there on a Thursday night, so we could enjoy Villagefest.

Parking was actually easier than expected, and we parked only a block from the Main Street.

The street is full of really good artists, with a huge variety of arts and crafts for sale.

There are musicians along the street, and lots of the restaurants were busy. At the north end there are many booths, with delicious food for sale.

The whole street was magical, and a great place to spend a few hours, and get some unique treasures.

Every Thursday evening craft stalls, musicians and food stalls take over the Main Street in Palm Springs. If you are anywhere nearby the villagefest is not to be missed!

What a fun way to take a great walk and see some interesting and fun vendors along the way. Our whole family can enjoy this, even the youngsters. My favorite is the fresh roasted candied pecans booth!

We had a wonderful time walking the the fair, listening to live music, and enjoying the cooler evening weather! I recommend eating dinner around 4:30 PM, this way you can keep your parking spot for the evening!

Our group was looking forward to the Thursday night tradition of the VillageFest, having been to it a number of years before.
This time, however, was decidedly not fun. The walkable streets were extremely crowded and no one, not one person out of hundreds were wearing a mask. I understand it was outdoors, but when you are walking down the streets packed in with a zillion maskless people, it's a bit disconcerting.
The booths were funky things, t-shirts and candles. The food was meat (we eat plant-based) or baked goods.
The restaurants were so crowded, it was almost impossible to get a table until we found a side street with a restaurant with outdoor tables.
While we ate sub-par food, a female street singer screeched her way through classic songs while an enthusiastic crowd applauded her awful renditions.
Not fun, won't go again.

It's hard to believe that this "market" is held each Thursday of the week. In general, there's always a lot of vendors, each having there own perpesctive on art and a good place for "501" Orgs to make money for good causes. I am glad it is held wach Thursday and that quite a few streets are blocked off. It's always a good time and then you are close for food and brew and with good people, what more could you ask for.

Lot of food and booths. Had a great time. If your not ready for crowds yet probably not the place to go.

It's about 6 blocks on the main strip. It was a good time. Plenty of vendors of food and crafts. The street musicians were all great.

Thursday evening is all about the fest in downtown PS. We go to enjoy the street musicians, the clarinet player is so good! Poking around the stalls is fun. Excellent people watching opportunities.
