Amazing trail with the Pacific Ocean on one side and a gold course on the other. Yellow Bermuda buttercups were everywhere and in full bloom. Also saw blooming pink Prairie Mallows and Ice Plants, purple Tree Mallows, and white Wild Radishes. Also encountered one blooming huge white Arum Lilly. The blue sky and ocean and the multi-color hills make it a wonderful afternoon hike. A box where you can borrow a pair of binoculars and a magnifying glass added another level of excitement.

This trail is beautiful but in my opinion not that easy: it's slippery and not well marked so bring the msp along or follow Alltrails. I followed the Alltrails advice to do it clockwise and I am glad I did! It would have been too hard for me because of the steep slopes going downhill (very slippery). Hiking poles would have been great to have. Other than that, it's well worth the incredible views. We even saw a whale breaching!

It is a nice area with overlooks around the Pacifica area.
However, there is no signage on any of the trails or indicators of difficultly, or how to get back to safety. Basically if you walk into this area you are completely on your own and may end up in a dangerous situation.

Blistering scorching late summer sun above ocean waves , slashing over mottled brown and green slippery rocks , washing away baked California soil . Whales whistles , birds chirping flying across the beautiful clear blue sky . Gentle warm breeze in my face as I walk along the sea side ...

Mori point is located in the Northern Pacific Coast is a great place for a short moderate hike and bike to the sea wall with mostly level and slight incline trails, and enjoyable beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. In addition to this breathtaking spot , nearby is the Pacifica Fishing Pier, a perfect
divergence of melding of the elements- a great fishing opportunity to snatch delicious fish including salmon, octopus, catfish, trouts , etc .... Mori Point is a perfect quick adventure getaway from a hectic life, a spot that is generally welcoming to everyone.

Separate public bathrooms, a bit grimy are available, however the cleanliness left a bit to be desired, having found the Women's toilet & Seat soiled with poo, a misdirected No2 bank shot, ugh. Be a scout dear and bring your own wipes & sanitizer given finding soap in a public bathroom is a faded memory.

Parking is available and very congested , barely squeeze in 6 cars on Mori Point Road , you'll be better off finding a parking in the residential area.

Overall , Mori point is a beautiful spot for an easy hike , bike and enjoy the beautiful Pacific Ocean Coast.

Hiked this trail starting from Old Mori Road and got some nice views of the Pacific. But we did cut back through the large hilltop and found ourselves having to negotiate some really steep descents on the eastern side. Lots of paths here that are not really main trails, so choose wisely!

This was my first time to Mori Point and Pacifica. It's an easy walk from the parking lot and tthen up a hill. The view is stunning. It's very windy and was cold in Dec but a nice walk.

I went here for the Harold and Maude filming location, stayed for a nice little hike. There is so much to see here, and within minutes you are able to see beautiful, sprawling views of the Pacific. Definitely recommend listening to some Cat Stevens on your drive in and out.

Flat, with paved bike path for walking. Numerous dirt trails also. Wonderful watershed area. Parking lot at both ends of the bike trail.

Mori owned a restaurant that stories say was a front for distribution of prohibition liquor. The lands been used from many things but is now reclaimed as beauty - ocean vistas, maintained trails, and ponds made for the endangered red legged tree frogs and San Francisco garter snakes. Bring water and wander.

Most terrifying experience of my life. I cannot believe this place is open to the public - a sheer drop onto rocky cliffs from the main trail which is terribly eroded. I searched to see how many have died there. If none, it is only a matter of time. This place should not be open to the public.
